We feel it is important to spend time examining your eyes and discussing your requirements therefore a standard eye examination will typically take up to 40 minutes. On occasion we may advise further tests and the appointment make take a little longer. We strongly recommend that all our patients have an Optomap Retinal Eye Examination in conjunction with a standard eye examination, this will take about ten minutes and the results will be reviewed by your Optometrists in the consulting room.
Choosing your spectacles may take from as little as a few minutes to much longer. We offer an excellent selection of luxury and designer eyewear along with contemporary and classic styles to suit all ages and budgets. We encourage you to spend as much time as you need with our fully qualified Dispensing Opticians to find the right spectacle frames for you and to discuss the best lenses to suit your needs and prescription.
If you require an appointment on a day that is already fully booked please ask to be placed in our cancellation book together with a suitable daytime phone number. We will contact you should an appointment become available.
Please let us know in advance if you cannot make an appointment, so that we may offer the appointment to those patients that may be waiting for a particular day/time. We politely request all patients to please arrive a few minutes prior to their appointment, if you arrive too late we may ask you to rebook another time, to avoid any inconvenience to patients in the following appointment times.
If you have a particular date and/or time in mind please call in advance to secure your preferred appointment time as we find appointments can fill very quickly, especially if you prefer to see your regular optometrist.
Many of our new patients come to us via personal recommendations. If you wish to see a particular recommended Optometrist or Dispensing Optician please let us know when you contact us.
